Tom made his debut in 2013, and has become a regular player since 2015. His forte, is swing and seam bowling, and has come to the fore this season, with some outstanding spells of bowling, including a match winning 4-14 against Beaumont, and some expert death bowling to clinch a close fought match against Lichfield Nomads 3-25. Consequently, Tom is closing in on a 50wkt milestone.
Tom is also recognised as the unluckiest bowler in many a year, being turned down for lbw shouts at least 243 times a season. He also produces the weekly match reports, which are greatly appreciated by everyone at the club. Tom enjoyed his best season so far, for the club, taking an impressive 23 wkts, taking at least one wkt in all 14 games he played in 2016.
In 2017, Tom reached the 50 wkt milestone, and continues to build on an impressive start to his Elf career. At the conclusion of the 2017 season, Tom was awarded his first Bowler of the Year trophy, after taking 27 wkts at an average of 13.66.
After claiming his 2nd bowler of the year award in 2018 Tom became only the 10th player in club history to reach 100 wkts against Lichfield Nomads in June 2019.
