Dan Armstrong burst onto the WHCC scene with a blistering 5 for, at the end of the 2015 season. This was definitely a sign of things to come, with Dan already achieving that rare double of scoring a century (the fastest in club history) and taking a 5 wkt haul.

Danny A has proved himself to be a bit of an entertainer with the bat, employing the hit the ball as far as you can approach. The neighbouring houses to Rushall should really think twice about purchasing a greenhouse when Armstrong is in town.

Dan has three passions in life….Batting Bowling and Eating. This popular member of the club loves his grub. He doesn’t bowl many pies, but he certainly likes to eat them. Just like Hannibal from the A-Team, Dan loves it when a flan comes together.

Dan passed the 2,000 run milestone during the 2023 season, and with a Player of the Year award (2018) Batsman of the Year (2019 and 2020) and Bowler of the Year (2022) already on the Armstrong roll of honour, Dan promises to be a top player over the next few years for WHCC
