Martin is a former Captain of the club, and has taken over 200 wkts for the club, including six 5-fors. His best bowling figures being 7-46. Martin is a very shrewd tactician, and a very astute captain, setting clever fields. A very important player throughout the 1990’s, helping to develop the team.

An extremely useful all-rounder, Martin made a brief return to action  between 2012-2013, and continued to show a very sharp cricket brain, giving useful advice when needed
